Hanna Instruments HI9146-04 Portable Dissolved Oxygen Meter
The HI9146 is a tough, transportable dissolved oxygen (DO) meter made to deliver lab precision and accuracy in challenging industrial and environmental settings. The automatic calibration, auto-endpoint detection, and correction for temperature, salinity, and altitude are just a few of the features that this meter offers. The polarographic probe, PTFE membrane covers, electrolyte fill solution, and tough carrying case are all included with the HI9146.

- Polarographic measuring system based on the Ross and Clark method
- The probe has a platinum cathode and silver anode in an electrolyte solution held in place by a polymer membrane
- Automatic calibration at one or two points to 100% and/or 0% saturation using HI7040 bicomponent, zero-oxygen solution
- Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) using a high-accuracy, built-in, linearized, thermistor temperature sensor
- Altitude compensation up to 4000 meters with a 100-meter resolution
- Salinity compensation adjustable from 0 to 80 g/L (ppt) with a 1 g/L resolution to measure DO in brackish and sea water
- Auto end point mode will freeze a reading on the display once a stable measurement is obtained for consistency between multiple users
- Good Laboratory Practice (GLP allows the user to recall calibration information including date, time and calibrations points
