The iris Visible Spectrophotometer (HI801) is a compact, versatile spectrophotometer capable of measurements across 340–900 nm. Its split-beam optical system automatically compensates for light source drift, ensuring accurate and consistent readings. With pre-programmed methods and customizable user methods, iris can measure absorbance, transmittance, and concentration in the units that matter most. Designed for field or laboratory use, it features a 6” high-contrast display, capacitive touchpad, and long-lasting rechargeable battery for up to 3,000 measurements.

Description

The iris Visible Spectrophotometer (HI801) provides accurate, reliable, and versatile analysis for a wide variety of chemical and environmental testing applications. Its split-beam optical system ensures stability and precision by compensating for light source drift. The instrument is capable of measuring absorbance, transmittance, and concentrations across a wide spectral range of 340–900 nm, and results are displayed in the units most relevant to the user. Pre-programmed with over 80 commonly used analytical methods, iris allows users to easily create up to 100 custom methods with multiple wavelengths, calibration points, and reaction timers.

Designed for laboratory or field environments, iris features a large 6” high-contrast display, capacitive touchpad, and universal cuvette holder compatible with various sample sizes. Results can be exported via USB in .csv or .pdf formats, ensuring data integrity and easy sharing. Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with up to 3,000 measurements per charge, and built with a compact profile and durable construction, iris combines portability, user-friendly operation, and superior performance for all your spectrophotometric needs.
