Description

The HI98196 multiparameter meter offers high-precision water quality analysis with pH accuracy of ± 0.02 pH, ORP accuracy of ± 1.0 mV, and dissolved oxygen measurement up to 50.00 mg/L (500% saturation). The meter supports automatic one, two, or three-point pH calibration with standard buffer recognition, along with customizable calibration options. Its galvanic dissolved oxygen probe allows rapid response measurements and automatic calibration at 0% and 100% saturation, ensuring dependable results in laboratory and field conditions.

Designed for durability and extended operation, the HI98196 features automatic temperature compensation from -5 to 55°C, as well as automatic salinity and barometric pressure compensation (450–850 mmHg) for accurate DO readings. The instrument stores up to 45,000 records with adjustable logging intervals from one second to three hours. Data can be easily transferred to a PC via USB using Hanna software. Powered by four AA batteries, the device provides approximately 360 hours of continuous use without backlight, making it suitable for long-term field deployment.
