Description
The Obsnapmeter Rotational Viscometer DV1400 is a lightweight and portable rotary viscometer designed for quick, reliable viscosity measurements in production processes, laboratories, and research centers. Following the Brookfield Method, it provides accurate readings of dynamic viscosity, spindle selection (R2–R7), full-scale percentage, and battery status. The instrument features a 2-line digital display with backlight, weighs only 1.8 kg, and operates on 4 AA batteries (alkaline or rechargeable) with 24–30 hours of continuous use, making it ideal for on-site or in-process testing. Its compact design (170 × 110 × 410 mm) and robust construction from aluminum and sheet metal ensure durability and ease of handling.
The DV1400 series includes two models: DV1401 (fixed speed 60 rpm, viscosity range 66–66,600 mPa·s) and DV1402 (fixed speed 20 rpm, viscosity range 200–200,000 mPa·s). Both models are supplied with six standard spindles (R2–R7) and a specially designed measuring vessel to ensure proper centering and prevent displacement during measurement. With a user-friendly interface, high repeatability (±1%) and accuracy (±2%), and portability for on-site measurements, the DV1400 is suitable for diverse industrial sectors, including chemical, pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, and printing industries.
