Description
The PROVA 1660 Transformer Turns Ratio Meter is a high-precision instrument for transformer, VT, and CT turns ratio measurements, supporting both single and three-phase configurations. It measures CT ratios up to 0.82000 and VT/PT ratios up to 0.810000, providing accurate readings for transformer quality assessment.
The device features a 5” large dot-matrix LCD (240 × 128) with backlight, displaying graphical and numeric information for easy interpretation. Users can view turns ratio, deviation, secondary output, excitation voltage and current, phase angle, and nameplate transformer values all on a single screen. Measurement is compatible with 10 test frequencies from 50–400 Hz and adheres to ANSI/IEEE C57.12.90 and IEC 60076-1 standards.
The PROVA 1660 ensures safety and accuracy by checking for live test points, short circuits, open circuits, and reverse polarity, with warning messages provided before measurement begins. It supports Bluetooth wireless communication, stores up to 4096 files, and includes programmable Reference Correction Factor (RCF 0.99–1.01) to maintain accuracy within 1%.
Compact and portable, it is powered by a rechargeable 3400 mAh lithium battery, providing over 10 hours of continuous operation. Auto power-off is programmable, and all measurements are date- and time-stamped for easy tracking.
