Description

The Rhopoint Gloss 20/60/85 Glossmeter with Haze is a portable, high-precision instrument designed to measure gloss and reflection haze across a wide range of surface finishes—from matt to mirror-like coatings. With three measurement angles (20°, 60°, and 85°), it enables accurate evaluation of high-gloss, semi-gloss, and low-gloss surfaces in compliance with international standards including ISO 2813, ASTM D523, DIN 67530, JIS Z 8741, and ASTM E430. The integrated haze measurement function (0–500 Log HU) provides additional assessment of surface clarity and distinctness of image (DOI), making it ideal for applications requiring detailed surface finish analysis.

Compact and lightweight (390 g), the instrument features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery offering over 17 hours of operation and more than 20,000 readings per charge. Its 8MB memory stores up to 2,000 readings, supporting statistical analysis, trend graph generation, and Pass/Fail quality control via USB connectivity and software integration. With high repeatability (as low as 0.1 GU) and precise resolution (0.1 GU), the Rhopoint 20/60/85 with Haze ensures consistent, reliable results for laboratories, manufacturing, and quality assurance environments.
