Description

The HI96804 Digital Invert Sugar Refractometer provides fast and precise measurement of invert sugar in foods and beverages by converting the refractive index of a sample into % invert sugar by weight. Following ICUMSA methods, the meter automatically compensates for temperature variations between 10 and 40°C, ensuring accurate readings for honey, jams, syrups, and other foods containing inverted sugar. Preparing standard solutions is simple using an analytical balance, high-purity sugar, and distilled or deionized water.

Equipped with an LED light, prism, and linear image sensor, the HI96804 evaluates how light refracts through the sample, producing reliable concentration measurements. Additional features include dual-level LCD display for simultaneous invert sugar % and temperature readings, small 100 μL sample size, stainless steel sample well, IP65 water-resistant housing, automatic shut-off, and battery indicators.
