Description

The Fungilab U-Tube (BS/U) and Reverse Flow (BS/IP/RF) Viscometers are precision instruments designed to measure the kinematic viscosity of transparent and opaque liquids, respectively. The BS/U series is suitable for transparent liquids and follows standards such as BS, ASTM D-445/D-446, ISO 3104/3105, and UNE 400313, while the BS/IP/RF series is specially designed for opaque liquids using a reverse-flow design. Both types are made from high-quality borosilicate glass with non-alterable timing marks, ensuring high reliability and repeatability. Each viscometer comes with a calibration certificate with constant values at 40°C and 100°C, and typical measurement precision of ±0.2% for BS/U and ±0.3% for BS/IP/RF.

These viscometers cover a wide range of viscosities, from as low as 0.6 cSt up to 300,000 cSt, depending on the model and series. The U-tubes are supplied with a capillary tube and calibration certificate, and are traceable to internationally recognized standards, ensuring their suitability for laboratory and quality control applications. Fungilab also offers customized viscometers with specific constants, additional temperature options, or pre/post-measurement data upon request, making them a versatile solution for precise viscosity testing in both industrial and research settings.
