Description

The HI98199 is engineered for professionals who need precision and durability in the field. Its waterproof IP67 rating and sealed battery compartments protect the electronics from water, dust, and debris, allowing it to withstand immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The large dot matrix display provides a clear interface for calibration, configuration, and data review, with backlighting for low-light conditions and contextual help via a dedicated help key. The rugged design ensures it fits comfortably in hand while offering years of dependable use in challenging conditions. Password protection and alphanumeric keypad input allow user IDs and sample site information to be logged for traceability and regulatory compliance.

Equipped with digital probes with auto-sensor recognition, the HI98199 eliminates errors from traditional analog electrodes. It measures pH, mV, EC, TDS, salinity, resistivity, and dissolved oxygen with automatic temperature, salinity, and barometric pressure compensation where applicable. The meter features GLP functionality to record calibration history, while USB-C connectivity allows the transfer of up to 45,000 logged records to a PC for analysis. Multi-range measurement modes, programmable logging intervals, and long battery life (~400 hours without backlight) make it ideal for environmental monitoring, water quality testing, aquaculture, and laboratory applications requiring both flexibility and reliability
