The HI99141 is engineered for professional water treatment applications, offering advanced performance in a rugged, portable design. Its large multi-level LCD screen clearly displays both pH and temperature measurements simultaneously, along with calibration stability indicators and on-screen instructional messages. With 0.01 pH resolution and ± 0.02 pH accuracy, the meter delivers precise readings, while features such as automatic buffer recognition, temperature adjustment, and one- or two-point automatic calibration simplify operation. At startup, the display shows the battery percentage, and the built-in BEPS (Battery Error Prevention System) alerts users when low battery levels could affect measurement accuracy.
The HI99141 comes equipped with the HI729113 amplified titanium body pH/temperature electrode, designed for durability and chemical resistance. Its unbreakable titanium construction allows rapid heat transfer to the internal temperature sensor for faster temperature compensation. The electrode features a flat tip design, a matching pin differential measurement system to eliminate electrical noise, and a pre-amplifier for improved response time and extended electrode life. Additionally, the large annular PTFE junction provides a chemically inert, clog-resistant surface that maximizes ion diffusion for fast, stable, and accurate readings. The maintenance-free, gel-filled electrodedesign eliminates the need for refill solution, making it ideal for demanding water treatment environments.
