Description

The Fungilab Capillary Ubbelohde Viscometers are precision glass instruments designed to determine the kinematic viscosity of transparent Newtonian liquids in accordance with international standards including ASTM D445–446, ASTM D2515, ISO 3104–3105, DIN 51562 Part 1, and UNE 400313. Available in both ASTM and DIN versions, these viscometers cover an extensive viscosity range from as low as 0.3 cSt up to 100,000 cSt (depending on size and constant K value). Manufactured from high-quality glass, each unit is supplied with an official calibration certificate issued under accreditation by a National Metrological Register, ensuring traceability to recognized international standards such as UKAS.

Ubbelohde viscometers are widely used in laboratories for accurate viscosity determination with a sample volume of approximately 15 ml and a high precision of ±0.2%. Fungilab offers a broad selection of sizes (0 to 5 for ASTM and 0 to IVa for DIN), with different constant K values tailored to specific viscosity ranges. In addition to standard models, custom-made viscometers with special constants, additional temperature calibrations, and specific before/after data can be manufactured upon request.
