Description
The TQC Scrub Abrasion and Washability Tester is a precision laboratory instrument designed to evaluate the resistance of paints, varnishes, and coatings against scratching, wear, and color loss caused by wet or dry abrasion. By simulating real-life cleaning and usage conditions, the tester determines coating durability either through a pass/fail method at a specified number of strokes or by identifying the minimum number of cycles at which failure occurs. With a programmable traverse speed from 1 to 60 cycles per minute, adjustable stroke length between 20 and 300 mm, and an integrated pump with a flow rate of 0.0–3.0 ml per minute, the instrument provides highly controlled and reproducible test conditions.
Featuring a full-color 480 × 272 pixel TFT display and an intuitive Triple i Control (Intelligent Illumination Interface), the tester offers easy navigation and precise parameter adjustments. Preset range options, manual movement functionality, and compatibility with a wide range of accessories make it adaptable to numerous international scrub and washability standards.
