Description
The Obsnapmeter GM01 & GM04 Adhesion Testers are precision hydraulic pull-off devices designed to measure coating adhesion in compliance with ISO 4624 standards. The GM01 model is equipped with a 6.3 kN hydraulic pull-force pump, while the GM04 offers a more powerful 20 kN pump, capable of handling larger or more strongly adhered coatings. Both models feature a robust testing head that incorporates four cylinders working on the Dynamic Force Distribution principle, ensuring the applied force is evenly distributed for accurate pull-off measurements. The system can accommodate a wide range of test specimens, from small dollies (3.27 cm²) to large 50 × 50 mm surfaces, with pull force capacities up to 40 kN (or 80 kN in the high-capacity version), making them suitable for coatings on metal, concrete, stone, and curved surfaces.
The adhesion testers come with a range of interchangeable testing heads to suit different applications, including micro testing-heads for small objects, standard heads for steel, and large heads for concrete and stone. Test dollies are available in various diameters and shapes to match the surface and coating type. The compact case (400 × 300 × 170 mm, 12 kg) and the lightweight testing head (Ø95 × 90 mm, 2.8 kg) make the system portable and user-friendly. For enhanced data management, a PC adapter and dedicated software are available, allowing measurement results to be processed and analyzed on a computer, ensuring both accurate and efficient coating adhesion assessment.
