The VPE-GN Ultrasonic Leak Detector (3rd Generation) is a highly sensitive, gooseneck-configured device designed for detecting air, gas, and vacuum leaks in hard-to-reach areas. Its gooseneck design allows operators to access confined spaces and obtain accurate readings where traditional detectors cannot. The instrument converts ultrasonic signals to audible sound (0 Hz to 4 kHz), enabling the user to distinguish leaks from mechanical or background ultrasound. A ten-element bar graph provides a quick and intuitive visual indication of the presence and relative strength of the leak.
The 3rd Generation VPE-GN introduces 20% greater sensitivity through upgraded digital circuitry, allowing for faster detection of smaller leaks and faults. Its Peak Hold display simplifies locating leaks, while the Over Range Audio Alarm keeps users informed without needing to constantly watch the display. Adjustable sensitivity lets operators identify leaks from a distance and hone in on the exact location efficiently. Designed with shock-resistant internal components, the detector is highly durable for industrial and field use, and its battery life has been extended to 200 hours on a single standard 9-Volt battery, ensuring long-term operation.
