Description
The PROVA 200A Solar Test & Educational Setup is a complete solution for hands-on solar panel testing and training. Designed for laboratories, classrooms, and research, it allows users to simulate sunlight using halogen lamps and measure solar cell/module performance with the included PROVA 200A PV Analyzer. The setup comes with PROVA 800 multi-input thermometer/datalogger, enabling accurate monitoring of temperature variations during testing. The solar fixture accommodates modules up to 300 × 250 mm and allows precise placement of light sources to mimic real-world sunlight conditions.
This kit uses a standard pyranometer (sunlight sensor) to determine true irradiance, while the halogen lamps (3 × 50W, DC12V) simulate sunlight with adjustable height from 90 mm to 30 cm. Its friendly user interface and low-cost educational design make it ideal for teaching photovoltaic principles, evaluating solar panel efficiency, and performing hands-on experiments. With K-type thermocouple integration and adjustable light conditions, users can explore I-V curve analysis, max power point detection, and efficiency calculations in a controlled, safe, and reproducible environment.
