Description
The ElektroPhysik MiniTest 3100 is a highly versatile coating thickness measurement system designed to handle a wide variety of industrial applications. It supports an extensive range of probes, including FN, F, N, and CN types, which can measure coatings from as thin as 0.1 µm up to 50 mm, depending on the probe and substrate. These probes are optimized for both ferrous (steel) and non-ferrous metals, with specialized options for measuring thin coatings, powder coatings before baking, and hard-to-reach areas such as tubes and pipes. High-resolution measurements (down to 0.1 µm) ensure precise results even in the lower ranges, while larger probes accommodate thick anticorrosive coatings on tanks, pipes, and other structural surfaces.
Designed for reliability and durability, the MiniTest 3100 features wear-resistant probes with almost unlimited lifespan, quick substrate identification for steel and non-ferrous metals, and excellent repeatability and measurement precision. The system supports advanced data assessment, storage, and statistical analysis, with special calibration capabilities including calibration on rough surfaces or via unknown coatings (CTC method). Its adaptability, robust probes, and comprehensive calibration options make the MiniTest 3100 ideal for quality control, production monitoring, and engineering applications requiring precise and repeatable coating thickness measurements.
