Elektropyhsik- MiniTest 3100 Coating Thickness Measurement

The MiniTest 3100 is a versatile coating thickness gauge offering a wide range of probes for steel, non-ferrous metals, and insulating coatings, including applications in difficult-to-access areas like pipes and tanks. It provides high-resolution, precise, and repeatable measurements with robust, wear-resistant probes suitable for industrial and laboratory use.

  • Wide Probe Variety: Supports FN, F, N, and CN probes with measuring ranges from 0.1 µm up to 50 mm, covering thin films to thick anticorrosive coatings.
  • High Resolution & Accuracy: Measures down to 0.1 µm in lower ranges, suitable for precise applications on small or curved surfaces.
  • Durable & Long-lasting Probes: Wear-resistant and virtually maintenance-free, designed for heavy industrial use.
  • Advanced Calibration & Storage: Supports measurement data storage, evaluation, and special calibration methods, including CTC for rough or unknown coatings.

Description

The ElektroPhysik MiniTest 3100 is a highly versatile coating thickness measurement system designed to handle a wide variety of industrial applications. It supports an extensive range of probes, including FN, F, N, and CN types, which can measure coatings from as thin as 0.1 µm up to 50 mm, depending on the probe and substrate. These probes are optimized for both ferrous (steel) and non-ferrous metals, with specialized options for measuring thin coatings, powder coatings before baking, and hard-to-reach areas such as tubes and pipes. High-resolution measurements (down to 0.1 µm) ensure precise results even in the lower ranges, while larger probes accommodate thick anticorrosive coatings on tanks, pipes, and other structural surfaces.

Designed for reliability and durability, the MiniTest 3100 features wear-resistant probes with almost unlimited lifespan, quick substrate identification for steel and non-ferrous metals, and excellent repeatability and measurement precision. The system supports advanced data assessment, storage, and statistical analysis, with special calibration capabilities including calibration on rough surfaces or via unknown coatings (CTC method). Its adaptability, robust probes, and comprehensive calibration options make the MiniTest 3100 ideal for quality control, production monitoring, and engineering applications requiring precise and repeatable coating thickness measurements.

Features

  • Large selection of applications-adaptable wear-resistant probes.
  • Quick measurements on steel and non-ferrous metals are possible with universal probes with automated substrate identification.
  • Special probes that are wear resistant and have an almost infinite lifespan.
  • Repeatability and high measurement precision.
  • Assessment and storage of measurement values.
  • Special calibration capabilities for rough surfaces and calibration via unidentified coating (CTC method).
