Hanna Instruments HI98509 Checktemp® 1 Digital Thermometer
The stainless steel probe and meter are connected via a 1 m (3.3′) flexible silicone cable on the high-accuracy thermometer HI98509 Checktemp® 1. Fruits, vegetables, and cheeses that are semi-solid can be easily lanced with the penetration probe’s sharp tip. This probe is also capable of measuring in frozen materials as well as in liquid and air. An NTC thermistor sensor is built within the probe to monitor temperature.

The high-accuracy Checktemp® 1 Digital Thermometer – HI98509 has a flexible silicone cable that is 1 m (3.3′) long that connects the meter with the stainless steel probe. Fruits, vegetables, and cheeses that are semi-solid can be easily lanced with the penetration probe’s sharp tip. This probe is also capable of measuring in frozen materials as well as in liquid and air. An NTC thermistor sensor is built within the probe to monitor temperature.
Thermistors enable exceptionally high accuracy to be attained in a very short amount of time. The Checktemp®1 now has the Hanna CAL CheckTM feature for trustworthy and precise measurements. CAL CheckTM launches a self-check automatically at startup and informs the user of the results with “-0-” for good news and “Err” for errors.
Routine controls are made quick and easy for both arriving and leaving goods with Checktemp®1. This probe is made of AISI 316 stainless steel, which complies with food safety rules, making it the perfect tool for monitoring temperature in accordance with HACCP specifications.
