Description
The HI98190 meter is engineered for professionals needing precision, reliability, and portability. Its titanium body pH electrode (HI12963) is virtually indestructible and chemically resistant, featuring a Quick Connect DIN connector for a fast, waterproof connection. The meter automatically compensates for temperature, and its dot matrix LCD with backlight ensures easy readability in bright sunlight or low-light conditions. Users benefit from intuitive operation via virtual and dedicated keys, programmable settings, and multi-language support. Calibration can be performed with up to seven standard buffers and five custom buffers, delivering ultra-high resolution (0.001 pH) and accuracy (±0.002 pH).
The HI98190 also incorporates intelligent features to simplify data management and compliance. The CAL Check™ system evaluates probe condition and warns of buffer contamination or electrode issues, showing a percentage-based condition indicator. Users can capture stable readings with AutoHold and store them using the log-on-demand function, saving up to 200 samples for both pH and mV. The device supports GLP for complete calibration traceability and allows data transfer via an opto-isolated USB interface with Hanna software. Combined with its rugged IP67 housing and long battery life (~200 hours without backlight), this meter is ideal for field and laboratory measurements requiring precision, traceability, and durability.
