The HI8733 is engineered for professionals who require flexible multi-range conductivity measurement in a single portable unit. It offers four measurement ranges (0.0–199.9 μS/cm, 0–1999 μS/cm, 0.00–19.99 mS/cm, 0.0–199.9 mS/cm), allowing users to quickly switch ranges when testing different sample concentrations. Calibration is performed manually at one point using the EC calibration knob, ensuring simple and straightforward setup in a standard conductivity solution. The meter delivers ± 1% FS accuracy (excluding probe error) for dependable results.
Equipped with the HI76302W four-ring conductivity probe, the meter provides enhanced stability and precision. The probe includes an internal temperature sensor for Automatic Temperature Compensation from 0 to 50°C, with an adjustable β coefficient from 0 to 2.5%/°C to correct conductivity readings based on temperature variations. A PVC protective sleeve ensures durability during outdoor measurements. Powered by a 9V battery with approximately 100 hours of operation, the HI8733 is compact, reliable, and suitable for both field and laboratory applications.
