The HI711 Total Chlorine Checker® HC allows users to measure total chlorine with speed, precision, and simplicity, replacing conventional chemical test kits. Total chlorine is widely used as a disinfectant in drinking water, food production, and swimming pools, but excessive concentrations can pose risks to human health. The DPD reagent reacts with total chlorine to produce a pink color proportional to the chlorine concentration, which is quantified by the handheld colorimeter.
Designed for convenience, the HI711 is small, portable, and single-parameter focused, making it ideal for water quality monitoring, educational labs, and pool/spa applications. Its LED light source (525 nm) and silicon photocell detector ensure accurate and consistent measurements. The device is lightweight (64 g / 2.25 oz.) and comes with sample cuvettes, reagent starter kit (6 tests), battery, instructions, and quick start guide for immediate use.
