Description

Many cutting-edge technologies are included in edge® Conductivity/TDS/Salinity to assure accuracy and usability.

Digital EC Electrode
edge® EC electrode is highly advanced, featuring a built-in microchip that stores calibration information that is automatically retrieved by edge® once the electrode is plugged in. Model, serial, and calibration data, including the standards used and the time and date of the most recent calibration, are all saved in the electrode.

Four Ring Probe
The HI763100 four ring platinum conductivity probe, which has an integrated temperature sensor for automatically temperature-corrected data, is included with the edge® EC/TDS/Salinity meter. In contrast to amperometric two pole probes, which have a constrained range and are susceptible to polarization effects, the four ring technique enables a large range of measurements with a single probe. The body of the HI763100 probe is made of glass and PVDF, and the sleeve is PEI (polyetherimide). Both materials exhibit outstanding resistance to a variety of corrosive substances.

3.5 mm Probe Input
It has never been easier to attach an electrode; there are no alignment requirements and no damaged pins; simply connect the 3.5 mm connector and begin going.

edge® is remarkably adaptable. Without taking up the space of a conventional tabletop meter, it can be used in a variety of settings and methods.

Wall Mount
Edge can be mounted to a wall using the provided wall mount cradle, leaving no footprint on the available benchtop area. A built-in connector in the cradle powers the edge and charges its batteries. You can free up crucial benchtop space thanks to edge’s zero footprint design.

Cradle and Electrode Holder
The edge® meter comes with a tabletop cradle with an adjustable swivel electrode holder that may be used to charge and securely hold the meter at the ideal viewing position.

edge® has a battery life of 8 hours, weighs about 8.8 oz., and has two USB connections.

Two USB Ports
edge® has two USB ports: one normal USB for transferring data to a flash drive and one micro-USB for charging your edge when the cradle is not accessible. You can connect your edge to a computer using the second micro-USB port to transfer files.

Data Logging
edge® allows you to store up to 1000 log records of data. Data sets include readings, GLP data, date and time.

Two Operating Modes
Both Basic and Standard Modes are available on edge®. The edge as an EC meter lowers features in Basic Mode to make operation simpler. The meter’s only automatic functions in Basic Mode are automatic temperature adaptation, automatic reading range, and automatic cell factor correction during calibration. There is no option for interval logging, and the temperature correction coefficient is fixed at 1.9% per degree Celsius. The user can modify these settings in Standard Mode.
