The Obsnapmeter Cross Cut Adhesion Test Kit (Master Paint Plate) is a multifunctional stainless steel inspection tool designed for professional coating evaluation. In addition to performing cross cut adhesion tests with 1 mm, 2 mm, or 3 mm grid spacing in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 2409 and ASTM D3359, the plate integrates several essential coating control features into one compact device (100 × 55 mm). Its robust stainless steel construction ensures durability, corrosion resistance, and easy transport for both laboratory and on-site inspections.
Beyond adhesion testing, the Master Paint Plate includes a wet film thickness gauge ranging from 50 to 160 µm, a wet film applicator adjustable from 0 to 180 µm, and a leveling test edge that provides a quick indication of coating viscosity. The corner sections incorporate edge-rounding checks (R2, R3, R4, R5) to verify proper substrate preparation. Supplied complete with a cutting tool and adhesive tape (ISO 2409 versions available separately), this all-in-one solution enhances efficiency and reproducibility in coating quality control and application assessment.
