Description
The TQC Hardness Pen is a precision instrument designed to test the hardness and wear/scratch resistance of coatings, lacquers, plastics, and similar materials. Its ergonomic design features an anti-slip grip and a durable anodized aluminum body, while the tungsten carbide tip ensures consistent and reliable results. By drawing the tip across a surface under a defined constant pressure, the TQC Hardness Pen provides a clear visual indication of a material’s resistance to scratching or wear. It is suitable for both flat and curved surfaces, making it highly versatile for quality control and laboratory testing.
Two versions of the pen are available: Standard (SP0010) and Pro (SP0015). The Standard model comes with three interchangeable springs and a 1mm tip for pressure ranges of 0–3 N, 0–10 N, and 0–30 N. The Pro model expands functionality with additional 0.5mm and 0.75mm tips, a pen holder with guidance wheels for a stable load, and easier application of force. Both models are designed with a laser-engraved scale for precise readings and feature robust construction, making the TQC Hardness Pen a reliable and convenient tool for assessing surface durability.
