Description
The Rhopoint Curve Glossmeter is a portable gloss measurement instrument designed to accurately determine the gloss of paints, varnishes, and other coated surfaces. It measures at a 60° angle, covering a range of 0–1000 GU, with high precision, offering repeatability of 0.2 GU (<200 GU) and reproducibility of 0.5 GU (<200 GU). The device features a small measurement aperture of 4.5 mm and a measurement spot of 2 mm × 2 mm, making it ideal for compact or confined surfaces. It can store up to 199 readings in memory and supports multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Dutch.
Specifically engineered for curved surfaces, the Curve Glossmeter allows consistent and reliable measurements where traditional flat-surface glossmeters may struggle. Its compact size and portability make it suitable for on-site testing and quality control, while its compliance with international standards such as ISO 2813 and B1277-032 ensures accurate gloss evaluation. The instrument comes with optional accessories, such as the Cylinder Jig, to facilitate measurements on cylindrical or contoured objects.
