Description

The GalvanoTest Coating Thickness Gauge by Elektropyshik is a high-precision instrument designed for measuring coating thickness on flat, curved, and small components, including wires. It supports over 70 coating/substrate combinations and comes with preset metals like Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ag, Sn, Pb, Cd, and Au, with additional metals available for specialized applications. The gauge features adjustable deplating rates from 0.3 to 40 μm/min, a measuring range of 0.05–75 μm, and a variety of measuring cells and masks for small or intricate surfaces. Real-time voltage monitoring allows accurate detection of alloy zones, while the intuitive alphanumeric display offers language options (German, French, English) and the ability to view results in metric or imperial units.

The GalvanoTest also provides robust data management and statistical analysis, with memory for up to 2000 readings and 18 metal-specific memory slots. Users can review mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and min/max readings, complete with date and time stamps. Its interfaces include a MiniPrint printer, RS-232 connection for PC, and analog output, making it suitable for laboratory, industrial, and quality control environments. Compact and user-friendly, the gauge ensures precise, reproducible measurements for multilayer coatings, small components, and wires, with a wide range of accessories available for specialized applications.
