The Met One AIO 2 Sonic Weather Sensor is an advanced, compact weather monitoring device that provides precise measurements of wind speed (up to 168 mph) and direction (0–360°), along with temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure. Its high accuracy—±0.5 m/s for wind speed, ±5° for wind direction, and ±0.2 °C for temperature—ensures reliable environmental data in real-time. The sensor also features optional inputs for external rain gauges and solar radiation sensors, making it a versatile solution for both meteorological and environmental monitoring applications.
Designed for durability and integration, the AIO 2 has a metal housing, operates in extreme temperatures from -40 °C to +60 °C, and supports 0–100% relative humidity. Its compact 10 cm diameter and 11 inch height make it easy to deploy, while RS-232, RS-485, and SDI-12 outputs provide flexible data connectivity. Additionally, the built-in automatic alignment compass and compatibility with the Comet Cloud Modem 2 allow for seamless remote monitoring and data management, making it ideal for smart weather stations, environmental research, and real-time data collection projects.
