Description
The Obsnapmeter Temperature Control Jacket for Viscosity Cup is designed to maintain the correct temperature of viscosity cups during testing, ensuring accurate and consistent viscosity measurements. The unit features a double-jacketed casing made from hard anodized aluminum and stainless steel, allowing heated or cooled liquids to circulate around the cup to stabilize its temperature. This temperature control is essential when testing paints, coatings, and other liquids where viscosity results are highly temperature dependent.
The jacket includes adjustable tripod feet and a built-in spirit level to ensure proper leveling during measurements. A glass plate is provided to prevent dripping before testing, while elbow-type quick-release hose couplings (inner Ø6 mm) allow easy connection to temperature control systems. Available in two versions, VF2067 for DIN and ASTM cups and VF2068 for ISO and AFNOR cups, the unit measures 320 × 160 mm, weighs 1000 g, and provides a practical solution for maintaining stable testing conditions in laboratory viscosity measurements.
