The TQC Shore Hardness Test Block Kit is a precision reference tool designed to verify the accuracy of durometer readings for both Type A and Type D instruments. Each kit includes test blocks made from stable materials, ensuring reliable reference checks, with annual verification recommended to maintain accuracy. The Type A kit contains seven blocks ranging from 30–90 Shore A, while the Type D kit includes three blocks with hardness values of approximately 60, 75, and 85 Shore D. Each block is individually numbered for traceable identification, making it easy to monitor and document durometer performance.
Housed in a custom carrying case, the kit provides convenient storage and transport. While the test blocks serve as a reliable reference for read-out accuracy, calibration should be performed with a dedicated durometer calibrator, such as the RC-1 model. This kit is ideal for quality control and maintenance programs where verifying the correct operation of hardness testers is essential, ensuring consistent and dependable hardness measurements across various materials.
