Description
The Obsnapmeter Rotational Viscometer VR3000 is a precision instrument designed for fast and reliable determination of viscosity in accordance with ISO 2555 and relevant ASTM standards, fully compatible with the Brookfield method for comparative quality control measurements. Available in models V1 and V2, the VR3000 supports a wide range of viscosities and speeds, with selectable spindles for low, medium, and high viscosity samples. It provides accurate readings of dynamic viscosity (mPa·s or cP), shear rate, shear stress (V2 only), sample temperature, and full-scale percentage, with repeatability of ±0.2% and overall accuracy of ±1% of full scale. The viscometer accommodates sample temperatures from -15°C to 180°C, with 0.1°C resolution and ±0.1°C accuracy, making it suitable for demanding laboratory and industrial applications.
Model V1 includes an RS232 interface, ViscosoftBasic software for data collection, and a PT100 temperature probe. Model V2 extends functionality with additional low-speed settings for a broader viscosity range, bidirectional RS232 interface, and optional ViscosoftPlus software for automated control and comprehensive rheological analysis. Constructed from sheet metal and stainless steel, the VR3000 features a four-line display, supports multiple languages (including English), and operates on 110–240 VAC, 50–60 Hz. With versatile spindle options, high-resolution data, and robust design, the VR3000 is ideal for quality control laboratories requiring accurate, repeatable, and standardized viscosity measurements.
