Description
The Obsnapmeter Dolly Drill is a precision tool designed for preparing dollies in adhesion tests efficiently and accurately. Constructed from high-quality aluminium, it features a vertical circular drill that precisely cuts around the dolly without applying pressure to it, ensuring a clean 90° angled cut. Its three powerful magnets securely hold the dolly in place, providing stability during the drilling process. With customizable drill diameters (10 mm, 14 mm, 20 mm, and 50 mm), inspectors can adapt the tool to different testing requirements, while the hydraulic and auto-positioning features of the pull-off head enhance reproducibility and consistency in adhesion measurements.
This drill significantly reduces the physical strain associated with manual preparation, such as wrist and arm fatigue, especially for inspectors performing multiple tests daily. By removing excess glue and cutting through coatings around the dolly efficiently, it ensures a smooth, accurate, and vertical cutting motion down to the metal substrate. The TQC Dolly Drill not only streamlines the workflow but also improves the reliability of adhesion test results, making it an essential instrument for quality control in coatings and surface treatment inspections.
