The PosiTest AT-A Automatic Pull-Off Adhesion Tester is a precision instrument designed to measure the adhesion strength of coatings on various substrates, including metal, wood, and concrete. Equipped with a new electronically controlled hydraulic pump, the device applies smooth and continuous pull-off pressure at a user-specified rate. Testing is simplified to the push of a button, eliminating the need for twisting, pumping, or adjusting valves, making it highly suitable for both laboratory and field applications. The unit includes built-in rechargeable batteries that allow over 200 tests per charge, with the ability to continue testing while connected to AC power.
The tester supports a variety of dolly sizes, delivering maximum pull-off pressures from 500 psi (3.5 MPa) for 50 mm dollies to 10,000 psi (70 MPa) for 10 mm dollies, with a resolution of 0.01 MPa and accuracy of ±1 % full scale. Its rugged, portable design comes complete with a shoulder strap and universal AC adapter, ensuring convenient and reliable adhesion testing across multiple industries.
