Description

The PROVA A9+ EV Clamp Meter is engineered for technicians working with electric vehicles, charging systems, and high-current circuits. It supports both low-level DC current and high current up to 1000A, making it highly versatile for EV maintenance and power diagnostics. With True RMS measurement, the meter delivers accurate readings even on distorted or non-linear waveforms.

The instrument features a large 3¾-digit LCD with a 20-segment bar graph that updates up to 30 times per second. Users can quickly capture motor startup behavior using the In-Rush Current function (100 ms integration). The built-in Low Pass Filter (LPF) with a 1 kHz cutoff helps remove high-frequency noise, which is especially useful in inverter-driven systems common in EV applications.

For safety and convenience, the meter includes Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) detection from 80V to 600V, one-touch zero (Δ) for DC calibration, and auto power-off with warning beep. The 25 mm jaw opening allows easy use in crowded panels. Its compact body (152 × 66 × 36 mm) and 190 g weight make it ideal for field work. The unit comes ready to use with carrying bag, batteries, and user manual.
