The Rhopoint IQ 20/60 Gloss Haze DOI Meter is a high-precision handheld instrument designed for measuring surface gloss, haze, distinctness of image (DOI), and RSpec on a wide range of materials. It operates at 20° and 60° gloss angles, with an optional 85° measurement for mirror finishes, offering repeatability and reproducibility that meets international standards such as ISO 2813, ASTM D523, DIN 67530, and JIS Z 8741. The device measures small areas (from 4.4 mm × 44 mm to 6 mm × 12 mm) and provides haze readings up to 500 Log HU following ASTM E430 standards. With a rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivering over 17 hours of operation, memory for 2,000 readings, and the capacity for more than 20,000 measurements per charge, it is optimized for both field and laboratory use.
Equipped with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, the Rhopoint IQ 20/60 facilitates seamless data transfer and statistical analysis. The instrument comes complete with high-gloss calibration tiles, sample positioning templates, instructional materials, and Novo-Gloss Multi Gauge software for trend graphing and Pass/Fail evaluations.
