Description
The MiniTest 7400 is a high-precision coating thickness gauge designed for reliable measurement on both ferrous and nonferrous metals. It features up to 500 measurement series and can store 250,000 readings, making it ideal for extensive quality control and industrial applications. The instrument provides advanced statistical analysis, including minimum, maximum, mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, block statistics, Cp, Cpk, histograms, and trend diagrams. Calibration can be performed with 1-point, 2-point, or multi-point (up to 5 points) methods, in compliance with international standards such as ISO 19840, SSPC-PA2, AS 3894.3, and ASTM B244.
Equipped with sensor-integrated digital signal processing (SIDSP®), the MiniTest 7400 ensures high repeatability and accuracy. Its universal probes enable rapid measurement with automated substrate recognition, while wear-resistant sensors provide long-lasting operation. Data can be transferred via USB, RS-232, or infrared, and printed directly through the standard ASCII printer or ElektroPhysik wireless printer. The device supports multiple measurement units, features a graphical display with adjustable lighting, and operates across a wide temperature range of -10°C to 60°C. Compact and lightweight at 310 g, it is powered by four AA batteries or a mains adaptor, making it suitable for both field and laboratory use.
