Elektropyhsik- MiniTest 2500-4500 Coating Thickness Measurement

The MiniTest 2500 and 4500 are high-precision coating thickness gauges designed for steel, non-ferrous metals, or mixed substrates. They feature large memory capacity, advanced statistical analysis, versatile probes, and robust calibration options, making them ideal for industrial quality control and lab use.

  • Extensive Data Memory: Can store up to 2,000,000 readings; MiniTest 4500 supports over 9500 batches and 99 application memories.
  • Advanced Statistics & Calibration: Performs standard statistics per batch (mean, min, max) and process capability indices (CP, CPK); supports 0–4 calibration points and CTC calibration for inaccessible base materials.
  • Connectivity & Display: USB (2500), USB + Bluetooth 4.0 (4500) with a 53 × 46 mm backlit display; optional alarm outputs and footswitch triggers.
  • Durable & Versatile Probes: Wear-resistant probes for steel and non-ferrous metals; automatic substrate identification; high reproducibility and measurement precision.

Description

The ElektroPhysik MiniTest 2500–4500 series offers advanced coating thickness measurement solutions designed for high-precision industrial applications. Both models provide extensive data storage capabilities, with up to 2 million readings storable, while the MiniTest 4500 supports more than 9,500 batches and 99 application memories for batches with individual calibrations. The devices feature versatile calibration options including factory settings, zero, up to four calibration points, and the CTC method, which allows calibration through the coating when the substrate is not accessible. Measurement units are user-selectable, including µm, mm, cm, mils, and inch, and statistical analysis includes minimum, maximum, mean, and for the 4500, Cp and Cpk for process capability analysis.

Designed for usability and durability, the MiniTest 2500–4500 series includes backlit displays, IP65 protection, and robust probes suitable for steel and non-ferrous metals with automated substrate identification. The devices feature optical and acoustic limit monitoring, long battery life (approx. 150 hours), and optional interfaces like Bluetooth and RS-232 for data transfer. Its wear-resistant, long-lasting probes and unique calibration features for uneven surfaces make this series ideal for precision quality control, coating analysis, and documentation in demanding production environments.

Features

  • Many wear-resistant probes that may be used for a variety of purposes.
  • Steel and non-ferrous metals may be measured quickly using universal probes with automated substrate identification.
  • Special probes that are durable and have an almost endless lifespan.
  • High reproducibility and precision in measurements.
  • Keeping and analysing measurement values.
  • A unique calibration feature for uneven surfaces and calibration using an unknown coating (CTC method).
