Elektropyshik- MikroTest Coating Thickness Gauge

Compact and heavy-duty coating thickness gauge designed for precise measurements on various coatings such as enamel, plastic, rubber, and electroplated nickel on steel. Suitable for flat and curved surfaces with durable construction and no battery requirement.

  • Versatile Measurement Ranges: From 0.2 mm to 10 mm and 0–50 µm depending on model
  • High Accuracy: ±5% of reading for general coatings; ±2 µm / +8% for electroplated nickel
  • Durable Construction: Zinc die-cast housing and long-lasting magnet for extended use
  • User-Friendly: Works on flat and curved surfaces, horizontally, vertically, or overhead, with no batteries needed

Description

The MikroTest Coating Thickness Gauge by Elektropyshik is designed for precise measurement of coatings on a variety of surfaces. It offers multiple models with ranges from 0.2 mm to 10 mm for enamel, plastic, and rubber on steel, as well as a 0–50 µm range for electroplated nickel on steel. Each model provides high accuracy, with tolerances as low as ±2 µm, and is capable of measuring curved surfaces with minimum curvature radii as small as 10 mm for convex surfaces. The gauge supports minimum surface areas between 20 mm and 50 mm depending on the model, and it can operate in ambient temperatures from –20 °C to 100 °C.

The MikroTest features a robust zinc die-cast housing and a long-lasting magnetic system, ensuring durability for industrial use. Its design allows measurements on horizontal, vertical, and overhead surfaces without batteries, making it highly versatile in the field. Compact and lightweight, the gauge comes with a plastic carrying case for easy transport, and its precision makes it suitable for quality control of coatings on metals, plastics, and other coated materials.

Features

  • Zinc die-cast housing that is heavy-duty.
  • Due to the manufacturing technique used by ElektroPhysik, the magnet has a long-lasting durability.
  • Range of measurement of up to 20 mm.
  • Because of the weight adjustment, it may be utilised in various situations, including horizontal, vertical, and above.
  • Curved surfaces can also be measured.
  • No need for batteries.
