Mahr Metrology MarForm MMQ 400 (5440782)

The MarForm MMQ 400 is a fully automated, high-precision measuring system for form, position, roughness, and contour measurements, suitable for diverse workpieces in production or inspection rooms.

  • Fully automated solution for form and position measurement
  • High-precision Z and X axes for versatile workpiece assessment
  • Supports roughness, waviness, and contour measurement
  • Motorized or manual centering and tilting table

Description

The MarForm MMQ 400 range offers a flexible, fully automated measuring system for comprehensive assessment of workpieces. Its smooth, precise axes combined with the MarWin software platform allow measurements of form, position, roughness, waviness, and contour, delivering a highly cost-effective solution that maximizes productivity and ensures fast ROI.

Designed for high-precision, unusually long, and large/heavy workpieces, the system can be used in production environments or inspection rooms, offering universal applicability as per DIN ISO 1101 standards. The system’s motorized Z axis (up to 900 mm) and X axis (up to 280 mm) with digital linear scales guarantee exact, reproducible measurements.

The optional T7W measuring probe provides a motorized rotational axis for easy positioning on cylindrical surfaces or end faces. It supports automatic switching between inner and outer measurements or top and bottom end faces, enabling fully automated sequences on complex workpieces without operator intervention. Interchangeable probe arms and multi-point configurations allow quick adaptation to different stylus ball geometries.

Additionally, the MarForm MMQ 400 can combine form and roughness measurements in one clamping movement, saving time and reducing labor costs while maintaining maximum accuracy.
