Description

The HI83326 combines photometric analysis and professional pH measurement in one compact, space-saving benchtop unit tailored for the pool and spa industry. Maintaining proper disinfectant levels, pH balance, alkalinity, and calcium hardness is essential for swimmer safety, comfort, and equipment protection. The meter measures critical parameters including free and total chlorine, bromine, ozone, alkalinity, calcium hardness, copper, iron, nitrate, cyanuric acid, and phosphate, helping operators prevent corrosion, scaling, algae growth, and bacterial contamination. Its advanced optical system uses three LEDs (525 nm, 575 nm, 610 nm), ±1 nm narrow band interference filters, focusing lens, and reference detector to ensure consistent and reliable readings.

Beyond photometric testing, the integrated digital pH electrode input stores calibration data directly in the probe, allowing electrode replacement without recalibration. A built-in thermistor ensures automatic temperature compensation for accurate pH readings. The HI83326 also features absorbance mode for custom calibration curves, CAL Check validation, data logging of up to 1000 readings with User and Sample ID, and USB connectivity for easy CSV export. Powered by USB or an internal 3.7V rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, it delivers both laboratory-level precision and operational flexibility.
