Description
The HI99162 is designed for milk quality control, allowing producers to monitor pH deviations that indicate spoilage or infection. Fresh milk typically has a pH of 6.7; lower values signal bacterial deterioration, while higher values may indicate mastitis. By measuring pH at various points in a processing facility, producers can optimize pasteurization time and ensure stability during UHT treatments.
Equipped with the FC1013 electrode, the meter delivers precise, stable readings thanks to the electrode’s spherical glass tip and secondary reference junction. The robust PVDF body resists chemical exposure and high temperatures, while the built-in temperature sensor provides automatic compensation. Additional features include on-screen tutorials, multi-level LCD, CAL Check™ for electrode diagnostics, long battery life, and waterproof portability, making it an ideal tool for dairy farms and processing lines.
