Description
The HI98197 is engineered for industries requiring continuous monitoring of ultrapure water up to 18.2 MΩ·cm at 25°C. It offers automatic multi-range measurement, up to 5-point calibration with 7 memorized standards, and supports EC, TDS, resistivity, and three salinity scales. The meter also provides fully customizable temperature compensation (linear, non-linear ISO/DIN 7888, or noTC) with an adjustable temperature coefficient from 0.00 to 10.00 %/°C. For regulated environments, it performs all three USP <645> stages and stores complete GLP data including date, time, standards, and temperature settings.
The supplied HI763123 platinum four-ring probe connects via a waterproof quick-connect DIN connector and integrates an internal temperature sensor for accurate compensation across the full range. When paired with the HI605453 stainless steel flow cell, it enables continuous flow measurement, essential for preventing CO₂ contamination errors in high purity systems. The meter supports user profiles (up to 10), log-on-demand and interval logging up to 1000 readings, and USB transfer using HI92000 software. Its IP67 waterproof body, graphic LCD with backlight, and thermoformed rugged carrying case make it suitable for both field and laboratory use.
