Conical Glass Tip
The conical-shaped tip, which is made of low-temperature glass, makes it easier for solids, semi-solids, and emulsions to penetrate and measure pH in food products including milk, cheese, yogurt, and meat.
Open Junction Reference
In order to prevent clogging and prevent silver from entering the sample, the open junction uses a solid gel interface (viscolene) between the sample and the internal Ag/AgCl reference. This allows for a quick and stable reading.
PVDF Body
A food-grade plastic called polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is resistant to the majority of chemicals and solvents, as well as abrasion, microbial growth, ultraviolet and nuclear radiation.
