The affordable, water-resistant HI9813-5 portable meter monitors temperature, conductivity (EC), pH, and total dissolved solids (TDS) with a single probe. With specific buttons for measurement modes to be presented on the LCD and knobs for single point pH and EC/TDS calibration, the meter’s operation is made simpler.
Based on the actual EC value, the HI9813-variable 5’s EC to TDS conversion factor automatically shifts from 0.56 to 0.78 ppm = 1 S/cm. Using a temperature correction coefficient () set at 2%/oC, all readings are automatically temperature corrected. The HI9813-5 is appropriate for hydroponic, greenhouse, and agricultural applications.
