Description
The HI148 series provides accurate and reliable temperature measurement with resolutions of 0.1–0.2 °C (0.1–0.3 °F) and high accuracy across a wide range (-40 to 100 °C / -40 to 190 °F). Four models are available: HI148-1 (1 internal sensor), HI148-2 (1 external), HI148-3 (1 internal + 1 external), and HI148-4 (2 external sensors). Units with external sensors include a stainless steel probe on a 1 m flexible silicone cable. Its large, programmable LCD divides information into three sections for clear viewing of temperature readings, units, active channels, alarms, and min/max values.
For configuration and data analysis, the HI148 connects to a PC via USB-C using the free HI92148 software, which allows programming of logging intervals, alarms, session IDs, and passwords. The dataloggers store up to 16,000 samples for 1-channel models and 8,000 per channel for 2-channel models, which can be displayed in tables or graphs and exported to spreadsheets. The rugged, compact design (107 × 59 × 17 mm, 130 g) and two-year battery life make the HI148 series ideal for long-term field deployment in industrial and environmental monitoring.
