Description

The HI97711 detects low levels of chlorine in water using an adaptation of the EPA 330.5 DPD method. Its innovative optical system features an LED light source, 8 nm narrowband interference filter, reference detector for stable output, and concave focusing lens, providing high accuracy, repeatability, and fast measurements. These features reduce errors caused by cuvette imperfections and ambient temperature fluctuations, ensuring reliable results in the field or lab.

This fully waterproof meter (IP67) has a cuvette holder designed to protect the optical path and a gasketed battery compartment for three AA batteries. The 128 x 64 pixel backlit dot matrix LCD supports virtual keys, contextual help, and GLP data recall. Additional features such as CAL Check, multiple reagent options, reaction timer, and auto-off protection make the HI97711 easy to use for both novice and professional operators, while ensuring accurate and consistent chlorine measurement.
