Description

The HI83305 is engineered for comprehensive boiler and cooling tower water analysis, combining a professional photometer and digital pH meter in one compact benchtop unit. Its advanced optical system integrates five LEDs (420, 466, 525, 575, 610 nm) with narrow band interference filters (±1 nm accuracy), a beam splitter, silicon photodetector, and reference detector to ensure exceptional measurement stability. The reference detector compensates for drift caused by temperature fluctuations or power variation, delivering consistent results between blank and sample measurements. With support for up to 30 programmed methods measuring 18+ critical parameters, including dissolved oxygen, silica, ammonia, chlorine, phosphate, hydrazine, molybdenum, zinc, and more, the HI83305 provides total control over corrosion, scaling, and microbial growth risks.

Designed for traceability and efficiency, the HI83305 features a digital pH electrode input with stored calibration data inside the probe, allowing quick electrode changes without recalibration. Automatic temperature compensation ensures accurate pH readings under varying conditions. The instrument supports absorbance mode for custom method development and Beer-Lambert Law teaching applications, along with CAL Check validation. With 1000 data logging memory, GLP tracking, dual USB ports (USB-A and micro-USB-B), rechargeable Li-polymer battery operation, and CSV data export, this meter offers full laboratory functionality with industrial reliability.
