The Xrite eXact Standard Portable Spectrophotometer is a handheld device designed for precise colour measurement in printing, packaging, and quality control applications. It supports both CMYK and spot colour inks, including difficult-to-measure neon inks, and adheres to industry standards such as G7, ISO, PSO, and Japan Color. The spectrophotometer offers multiple aperture sizes (1.5 mm, 2 mm, 4 mm, and 6 mm) and features automatic calibration through its integrated white reference, ensuring consistent and accurate readings.
Equipped with a lithium-ion battery and flexible connectivity options including USB 2.0 and optional Bluetooth, the eXact Standard allows for seamless integration with software like X-Rite ColorCert, Color iQC, InkFormulation, and NetProfiler. It measures colour differences using CIE ∆E (1976, 1994, 2000)* and captures data in CIE Lab and LC*h°** colour spaces.
