The Xrite eXact™ 2 Plus is a versatile portable spectrophotometer designed for precise color measurement across a variety of applications. It supports multiple aperture sizes (1.5 mm, 2 mm, 4 mm, or 6 mm) and operates on a high-capacity 4750mAh lithium-ion battery, providing extended usage in the field. The instrument automatically calibrates on an integrated white reference and can measure color differences using CIE ∆E* (1976), ∆ECMC, CIE ∆E* (2000), and CIE ∆E* (1994), across multiple color spaces including CIE Lab* and CIE LCh°.
Equipped with USB-C and Wi-Fi connectivity, the eXact™ 2 Plus enables seamless data transfer and integration into modern workflows. Its BestMatch feature ensures accurate color matching, while the device’s polarised and non-polarized light options allow for measurement of a wide range of surfaces. With Mantis™ video aiming, operators gain precise targeting and confidence in measurements, and the extended density range of 0.0 D – 3.0 D supports various density standards (Status A, E, I, T, and G), enhancing both speed and reliability in quality control tasks.
