Description

The Met One E-Sampler Dual Ambient Monitor/Sampler combines real-time particulate monitoring with integrated gravimetric sampling to provide accurate measurements of TSP, PM10, PM2.5, and PM1. It uses a forward light scatter laser nephelometer for continuous measurements, paired with a 47 mm low-flow gravimetric filter sampler. The system features high accuracy and precision, with nephelometer readings ±10% to gravimetric methods and gravimetric accuracy ±8% per NIOSH 0600. Data is recorded at user-selectable intervals, with real-time 1-second updates available through analog outputs. Automatic zero and span calibrations can be scheduled, ensuring reliable long-term performance.

Designed for field deployment, the E-Sampler supports continuous operation or programmable sample cycles and includes a brushless diaphragm pump with purge air, automatic humidity control via a 10 W inlet heater, and optional internal battery providing up to 30 hours of operation. The weatherproof aluminum enclosure houses a menu-driven interface with LCD display, serial communications, alarm outputs, and onboard data logging for up to 4369 records. Its portable and self-contained design allows independent monitoring in diverse environmental conditions, with easy filter replacement, optional tripod or wall mounts, and compatibility with COMET™ and Air Plus™ software for analysis and reporting.
