The HI97701 photometer measures free chlorine in water up to 5.00 mg/L using pre-programmed calibration curves for powder or liquid reagents. Its innovative optical system, including LED with 8 nm narrowband filter, reference detector, and concave focusing lens, ensures high accuracy, repeatability, and fast readings. The backlit dot matrix LCD with virtual keys and tutorial mode guides users step by step, making the meter extremely user-friendly. Users can recall the last 50 readings, review GLP data, and customize settings for their preferences.
The meter is fully waterproof, including the cuvette holder and gasketed battery compartment, and runs on three AA batteries capable of about 800 measurements. Additional features include CAL Check verification, auto-off after 15 minutes, built-in reaction timer, and a large 25 mm cuvette for accurate colorimetric readings even in low absorbance samples.
