Description

The HI83325 Nutrient Analysis Photometer is built for laboratories, aquaculture, and environmental monitoring, providing accurate measurement of critical water quality parameters such as pH, ammonia, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, phosphate, potassium, and sulfate. Its digital pH electrode input enables potentiometric measurements with automatic one- or two-point calibration and temperature compensation, while the pH CAL Check provides electrode diagnostics for reliable results. The photometer supports absorbance mode using Hanna’s CAL Check™ cuvettes or user-supplied chemistries, allowing users to create concentration vs. absorbance plots for research or educational purposes.

The HI83325 combines high-efficiency LEDs, narrow band interference filters, a focusing lens, and a reference detector for precise and repeatable photometry. Its round 25 mm cuvette accommodates low-absorbance samples and reduces errors from rotation. Additional features include a backlit 128 x 64 pixel graphic LCD, reaction timer, automatic GLP tracking, USB-A and micro USB-B connectivity, and rechargeable 3.7 V Li-polymer battery. The meter’s compact and robust design ensures reliable performance for nutrient and water quality analysis in freshwater systems.
